to qualify, the character must remain faceless to characters other than the love interest for most if not all of the story. the character may reveal their face to their love interest exclusively or may be a noppera-bō/invisible, as in this case there's no face to discover, or may have a partial face reveal to others, provided it is not their whole face. however, if the character happens to wear a mask but reveals their face/identity to many others outside of the love interest frequently, this will not be counted. titles will be still be considered if the story is mid-publishing/slow burn, and the masked character has not made progress with their love interest.
