Starting Vibes: 🤔 Honestly, the beginning was a bit rough. Went in expecting the usual power fantasy clichés, but glad to be proven wrong. The first chapters felt a bit typical, but stick with it!

Premise: 📜 Classic setup: a guy from the slums aiming to break free from his dire situation and become great. But the execution is what makes this different from the rest.

Pacing: ⏱️ Fairly decent, especially considering everything happens in under six months. Even though the MC powers up quickly, it’s written in a way that feels believable for the most part.

Clichés: 🙄 Yup, they’re here, but they’re handled in a way ... that actually benefits the story. Not a deal-breaker.

Characters: 👥 This is where the manhwa shines. Each character has a role, either now or coming up. They’re not just fillers; they add real value to the story.

Fights and Art: ⚔️ The action scenes are flashy, but that’s kinda par for the course in power fantasies. The art is good, and fits the genre, though it’s not the main draw for me.

Story and Emotion: ❤️ The arcs are packed with emotion and depth. Even with some minor issues, the overall story is amazing. It’s a breath of fresh air in a sea of gimmick manhwas.

MC and Plot: 🌟 The main character is smart and hardworking, not a crybaby. He starts off ordinary but grows into something special with the help of a great teacher. Unlike many manhwas, he knows when to lean on others, which is refreshing.

Recommendation: 👍 worth a read. Despite some rough starts, it’s one of the best manhwas with a great storyline. Long chapters mean a lot of content and good art. so if you don't wanna miss a good manhwa then give it a go.

A good read with a propelling story.

The "Stellar Swordsman" differentiates itself from cliche power fantasies and introduces us to Vlad, a kid who sought to reach the moon.

Here's a summary of my thoughts:

The art is quite good.

Story - 7.5/10
... The story is somewhat unique and entertaining, unlike most power fantasies nowadays. The story unfolds neatly and slowly introduces Vlad and his story.

Characters - 8.5/10
Characters are actually likable and understandable, and side characters are truly a part of the story. Side characters aren't forgotten and influences future events.

Pacing - 7/10
Pacing is pretty good. The pacing is natural and fluid, which makes for an enjoyable time.

Overall thoughts:
A enjoyable read.

Finally a power fantasy manhwa which I can say that I have enjoyed a decent bit. But the starting was not all flowers tho. I absolutely hated the starting chapters. Maybe cause I went in the mentality that this is gonna be the same usual of a manhwa. But I was thankfully proved wrong.

Starting, I should set up the narrative by giving a jog to the premise and its not much different than the usual. A boy from the poorest of slums works hard to break the chains holding him from greatness. But the way it is executed about is different than the most. The ... pacing is decent if you don't press over the fact that all of the events have happened under a time not more than half a year. The struggles of the main character, despite him being overpowered in a short amount of time, are written in a way making it believable for the most part for the readers. Clichés are there, but presented in an advantageous way for the manhwa. Characters are the thing which helps the most in differentiating it from the pile, as they are somewhat well written. All of them have their own role in the story or will have one in the upcoming time. While most of the people pays more focus on the fights, which makes sense considering this is a power fantasy, but for me fights has always been a secondary thought. Same regarding the visuals, but if I had to provide my thoughts over it, it was fine, overly flashy but understandable considering the genre is known for this stuff.

One of the best manhwas to come out this season. While it’s not perfect and has some minor issues, it’s overall a great read with lots of potential. Many manhwas start strong but drag by chapter 35-40; we’ll see how this one fares. The pacing is well-balanced, with a cool, smart MC who works hard and isn't a crybaby. Instead of being overpowered from the start, he begins as an ordinary guy with a hardworking mindset and an incredible teacher. It’s not a one-man show— the MC knows when to rely on others. A ... breath of fresh air among gimmick manhwas. Highly recommended!
