In Sengoku Danshi Hana no Ran we have a group of warriors from history who time travel to the present, while in Yoshiwara Hana Oboro, we have a shoujo heroine who travels to the past. These shoujo romances have good looking male leads and history and time travel. In Sengoku, the guys are famous warriors, while in Yoshiwara, the story takes place in the red light district.  

Both are humorous stories involving time travel and a romance between a modern girl and a Sengoku era warrior. 

Imagine having a ninja or a famous warrior travel through time and become your boyfriend, these shoujos let you see the trials these heros go through and troubles of the modern age that they encounter in this time period. Shinobi Life has a complex plot as they keep going back and forth in time, while the warriors in Sengoku may never be able to return to theirs. If you like the idea of a Kagetora or a famous warrior as a boyfriend read these.  

Showbiz as a main theme for both manga. A little twist of events and some sub-revenge plots as well. The character/main lead's reasons for joining the entertainment industry are different but they both have this similar hard-working personality. The main difference will probably be the fantasy-time-travelling theme in Sengoku danshi hana no ran.

Both are romances that involve a girl from the present with a boy from the past. In Tonari no Shugoshin, it is a guy from medieval Europe but in Sengoku Danshi it is with a guy from the 1600's.
