Boring and cliche, it started off ok but a singular scene in chapter 11 made me drop it .

Spoiler context: the MC and the girl goes to a haunted house, she's scares and he invites her home. The lights go out, she accidentally pushes the MC down and the dad happens to return at that moment. The dad then proceeds to go on a self righteous tirade about how because the MC invited her over, he has to be careful and be responsible to avoid accidents.

First of all, it was an accident. This is giving me high school "if you knew you were ... going to be late, you should've left earlier" vibes. If I knew what the future was going to be, there would be no accidents EVER. That's literally asking for the impossible. Even your blood sucking insurance provider understands that you can't avoid all accidents, so why can't this guy do it? Second of all, she's the one on top. This is literally victim blaming. Third of all, I'm just tired of authors being unable to write a realistic character. If the dad was dumb enough to actually think that the MC is at fault, then he would be freaking out harder and not just lecturing him. On the other hand, if the dad was reasonable enough to talk and listen, then how could he be so stupid and victim blame instead? Either way, their characterization simply doesn't make sense. It's just really jarring to see everyone act like perfectly normal humans, then one person acts completely bonkers and out of character. I've seen this pattern enough to know that this is the author trying to shoehorn either a moment or a storyline in, and its honestly quite painful when they fail the execution like this. Not to mention the fact the both the MC and the girl are basically perfect humans, and most teenagers I know are very far from perfect.

I don't see great things for this manga, and I only have so many hours in a day. I would rather go read something better than hang on to an incredibly mid series hoping it improves.
