TL;DR: Are you a fan of NSO? Read this, lots of nods to the games and very detailed enviroment and beautiful art.
If you are not familiar with the franchise, I'd advice either playing the game of skipping this one.
Art: 8.5/10. Even an unfamiliar can see how great everything about this manga has been designed, presented and implemented. From small character emotions, to background details, character designs and hard hitting scenes.
Characters: 6/10. It's a mixed bag. Ame-chan is a decent, albeit very formulaic yandere-like. She's true to her character which is a plus. P-chan is kind of meh, aside from wanting to not starve his
...
motivations are a bit lackluster and the way that he loosely becomes like a father taking care of ame is kind of wonky, considering that he was alledgely seen having an affair with someone in the industry. Idk stuff like he not getting rid of her razorblades at the point that she almost use one to cut herself in front of him and he not even acknowledging it.
Noa was a great addition and she fucking dissapeared in 2 chapters. What a waste of potential, ame and her had an interesting chemistry.
Story: 6.5/10. So far, not terrible but the narrative it's kinda pushed down our throaths a bit. A lot of inconsistencies, like when Nao gets a million and a half suscribers in an HOUR. This in of itself could be used as a comedic thing because it's the most unrealistical thing ever, but ame takes it as the worst thing ever and it shows how much stuff with Nao was trown to the trash when they made the storyline of the manga.
If Nao was that succesful and she ADORED K-Angel, why not do collabs? I get that Ame would be very pushed back by her, but Nao literally was SAVED by her? Wouldn't Nao mention K-Angel on her streams, given that she was her main motivation?
Another inconsistency is how the fuck is Ame able to get drugs still. Was she diagnosed recently? How does she even manage to pay those for so long? She is not receiving money from P-chan for that stuff.
We're still kind of early in the story, so let's see how they handle everything later on.
Enjoyment: 7/10. Mostly on the stuff said above. They have great art and it's easy to read overall, it's a shame everything else. It really can be great if they tie stuff together in a better way. Ame and P-chan relationship is toxic but kind of interesting, so they have a lot going for them. They have so many ideas from the game to implement that it's a crime to have these plotholes.
Overall: 6.5/10.
