Your enjoyment is highly dependent on your expectations going in. So this is less of a review and more of a guide to set expectations.

This is not an action story. The world of Murim serves more as a backdrop than a prevailing narrative.

The MC is a pacifist and is very serious about not hurting or killing. He rarely engages in actual combat.

At it's core, this is a story about a purehearted and very dense MC, unknowingly attracting the interests of different women.
It's not a harem, but contains the waifu collecting tropes of one.

As a reader, you're initially baited into waiting for the ... MC to show off his potential in martial arts but really are expected to react to the relationships he creates with powerful women in Murim.

I personally don't recommend this one because the main character doesn't have enough goals to fuel the narrative. He just kind of wanders around while coincidentally running into prominent figures. There's too much Murim politics to satisfy waifu collectors, but not enough action to satisfy Murim enjoyers.
