Boys Love/Yaoi/Shounen Ai that will make your head burst with just how weird, disturbing, or messed up they are. If psychological is your go-to or you liked "Killing Stalking" and "Caste Heaven" or any of Harada's works, then you might like this stack. The BL manga in here doesn't necessarily need to have any romance between the leads, so please take note of that.

These are not the only ones that are part of the spectrum. There are also a lot of BL out there that are currently not on MAL. That's why it's not included, just like "Stockholm Syndrome," "Similar Terms," and "Fruit of the Tongue."

P.S. I ended up removing "Chikuhei no Hanayome" or "Orc Bride" because MAL labeled it as hentai and that will result for this stack being viewed only on the hentai page it is linked to.

Yo besties, I've been having a challenge of reading short manga.
so I thought of creating interest stacks for this challenge.
Some of the manga I've listed in the challenge aren't in MAL so I will list them in the description.
Each set (currently there are 15, and it continues) has 49 entries, and the manga vary in genres and popularity.
All of the manga are 1-5 volumes long, and I would love to see other people participating in this challenge!

The Meiji and Taisho eras spanned from 1868 to 1926, a period of modernization for Japan. When after 250+ years of self-imposed isolation (Sakoku), Japan came into contact with Western culture and got inspired by it. This period combines Japanese traditional culture with 19th century and early 20th century Western culture.

This is my go-to list for historical/period BL manga/manhwa. I love stories that capture the vibe of different eras and offer a solid dose of timeless romance.

The stories in this list unfold against historical backdrops, with characters facing their own time-specific struggles. It's a solid collection for fellow historical romance enjoyers.
