If you want a cute cozy read that's about found family, then this is a really good read. Its not for everyone, but between overwhelming and anxiety inducing plots, sometimes its nice to read something a bit more easy going. This is one such read.
Story: 6
Some people may think the pacing is quite slow, but it does give more of an opportunity for characters to grow at a pace that doesn't feel rushed which I love. There are lots of different plot threads around multiple characters that do get explored, but this sort of story knows it wants to focus on the characters and their

relationships rather than a really advanced, heavy plot, and I think it works well. I like as well that Mabel (FL) starts with imposter syndrome in her own family due to her experiences in her previous life instead of being glossed over as a backstory for the sake of having a backstory.
Art: 6
The art suits this type of story, with cute colourful vibes throughout.
Characters: 7
I find these characters to be quite memorable. Even after long chunks of time without reading, I still remember their characteristics and their motivations. Even with the upbeat vibes, there are still some emotional backstories that make you really care about the characters. Its not perfect, but the characters are better written than a lot of other shallow characters I've seen in other stories like this. The characters are given enough space to grow and develop in this story and its lovely to see, particularly as this story is set over numerous years. I also love the father and daughter relationship in this. Its so memorable and I love how they grow as people to overcome their painful past.
