2nd stack of manga with queer relationships and minimal to no sexual content that i found likeable + felt not as fetishizing as most others
(not that there's anything wrong w sexual content but it's hard to find stuff in these genres that aren't mostly written for the smut)

Bl where the couple starts out as best friends/childhood friends already. They usually have extreme ‘friendly’ intimacy even before they confess. Often side characters will be surprised if they’re not together and even when they’re apart they often can’t shut up about each other.

Their arcs are usually either 1 of them already being in love and trying to hide it/confess, or abt both of them slowly realising they've always been in love.

Childhood friends who’ve fallen out/lost contact or aren’t very close are excluded. Mostly excluding smut-heavy ones bc they're not the right vibe for what I'm looking for (also excludes sequels)

BL where the couple are childhood friends/old friends/met in their childhood/old coworkers/rivals/etc who lost contact, but meet again.
