Now this is an interesting one. Artistically, it's doesn't stand out much from the classic/josei art style, and the same-face syndrome, while still an issue, is sort of baked into the plot in this case. But this story MOVES. And not in the way where it seems like the author is afraid of getting axed, and pairs characters up to give them unearned resolution — it moves because it any slower, and the magic would be lost.
It presents an intriguing premise of a twin taking another twins place, akin to Sunbeams in the Sky; but that is where comparisons end. The callous relationship between the

sister is the entirety of what makes this work. It places us in the middle of their feud, and sets us up for some workplace shenanigans, but in reality, any lingering on these superfluous set pieces would only distract from the insanity of the characters we need to focus on. Characters deceive, get deceived, go from being seeming pitiable to seeming wicked, go from seeming evil to seeming misunderstood, and then back again—it's a real mess. But somehow still pulls everything together. At least within its world where people always take the most chaotic route possible. I shouldn't be so harsh, there is definitely some semblance of reality in this work; but the way it frames its plot and events makes it so it could only exist within this blazing 4-volume self-contained pace, or else the story elements would be dragged too far along.
Overall it was a fun read: everyone sucks and doesn't suck at the same time. The best compliment I could give it is that is it definitely not cliche (at least as the manga world is concerned) and that alone should give a sense that it may be worth your time. Hell, I'm not even the target audience for this kind of work, and I still found myself waiting for more. Now I won't pretend like the way characters motivations and behaviors swing from one direction to another is somehow a realistic portrayal of real life melodrama...but in some way it kinda is. And since the book made me feel for all of these characters (no matter what that feeling was) I'd say it did a pretty good job. It's ridiculous, trashy and even nonsensical, but it works.
