i wanted to make one more because there are manga here that i wanted to recommend, i hope you like it. good reading for you. :)

all the shoujo + josei manga currently scheduled to release volume 1's of english prints in 2023! wanted to make this stack for anyone whos like me and wants to keep track of the new shojo and josei that is coming out this year so they can add some to their collection. i will try to keep this updated if more series are announced throughout the year, enjoy <3

Any manga that features a female protagonist that is involved with otaku culture. This can range from anime and manga, idols, video games, fandoms, or other subgenres.

Note: I did not include any overly explicit titles, or titles I could not find much information about.

manga/manhwa that feature office-based romances! this is a pretty open list, so fantasy elements are welcome, but the characters must be working in some sort of professional capacity, work together or within the same company, and must be seen to be doing work often. if the characters met while working from home, this may be accepted (home office), but work unrelated to a central office environment will not be considered (delivery drivers, superheroes, etc). if the couple met in the context of office work, but later chapters explore their lives outside of this, this may be accepted.

This list is specifically for the Shojo and Josei licenses Tokyopop has come out with in English AFTER their major implosion in the 2000s, so it focuses on what they've published after re-entering the english market.

I haven't included their disney manga or OEL comics since that's its own separate thing and has its own section on their website. Additionally, a large chunk of their catalog nowadays is BL and GL, and there are lists that have done that work already and listed those out under "LGBTQ+ Tokyopop manga", so I didn't bother to check every single BL or GL to see if they were published in a Shojo or Josei magazine or magazine equivalent. Check out that list if you want to search the variety of GL and BL and LGBTQ+ manga they have published.

*note that Aqua is the first few volumes of Aria that were originally published in a Shojo magazine before the manga moved to a Shonen magazine and changed names.
