It's just a confusing mess. Maybe the best example of don't judge a book by its cover. Reading its title made me thought that maybe I was in for some ecchi action, but the cover page had me convinced that this is a yuri manga until I was met with a comment informing that it was not a yuri. Thus me giving the green light to read this. And by some weird twist the story was not even close to a yuri or an ecchi manga but turned to be a normal wholesome romance manga.
*Nice clickbait author*
For a fresh change of sorts, this time the
...
loner is the girl as opposed to the usual trope. The story follows her trying to claw out her way of her loner personality with mc sorts of helping her in the process. And oh yeah, doing naughty things together...... if the definition of naughty things in your dictionary is doing things which annoys people. Like not the adult's meaning of naughty but rather the kid's meaning of naughty.
From the first chapter I had pitch and forks in my hand, ready to hate the manga, because not only was I jebaited twice, I was not given the ecchi which I wanted to read (and I am dumb for that cause I don't see tags). And once the male lead got introduced, I was happy cause I have now got an opening to dogpile upon this manga. Not only did he appear to be annoying but also came of as a character one would see as a MC in a korean manhwa (ok that is too far of an insult but still you get the point). But not did I was proved wrong, I came to like him at the end of the day. With a personality of a funny overly enthusiastic shounen character, apparently "a bad-boy", I am glad that the MC was not another loner no.19271 constantly blushing every page or so. And about the female lead what else can I say other than she being a "waifu material".
Also the whole "girl-tall-boy-short' schtick seems to stick with me and while I am reading this kind of trope for the first time, I am liking it so far. And also it does helps to squeeze in some more comedic and wholesome moments in the already good manga.
While it did not try to heavily focus on much drama in the beginning but I would be lying if I said that they did not introduce any in the later chapters. While the whole "fiancé" thing could have been avoided, but a romance does need something to spice up a little bit. What I would say is that it would be better if they continue with the drama with this intensity opposed to going full balls deep into it.
Tl;Dr: Good shit.
