Really cute romcom based off of some fetish bait. However, its handled with enough tact that it ends up being a cute and fun read even for people who aren't into giant girls. I'm honestly impressed with how much the manga covers the logistics of having a giant girl be around. It'd be really easy to hand waive, but there's enough details of the girl, how she handles being large, and what she does with her new situation. It's honestly really charming.

The art is relatively simple, but I like the style of the line art. It has a roughness to it that is really appealing ... to me. It is really obvious that the artist really liked Xenoblade Chronicles 2 though. Not necessarily a negative, but it can just be a little distracting how similar Chieri looks to the character of Mythra from the game.

Give this manga a read, its not as gross as I was worried about.

A giant masterpiece. I came for the fetish material but stayed for one of the greatest romcom mangas of the century.

The characters are very well written with very cute, wholesome and meaningful interactions between them. The flashbacks to when the two mean leads were kids are always thrilling and add some much needed depth to the characters which is greatly appreciated. These flashbacks also allow for some really cool parrallels which show the deep bond between them. (for example chapter 5)

The art is absolutely phenomenal in this, the characters are expressive and fun to look at, the background art can be a bit generic ... but it still looks pretty cool and in certain scenarios the manga isn't afraid to change up the artstyle a little. This can lead to the main character looking monstrous (considering she's 8 meters tall this was to be expected) but it also can make scenes that much more romantic and intense. And let's not forget the colored page every chapter has, these pages look phenomenal and can make for some stunning wallpapers if you aren't too ashamed of your giantess kink.

The writing can also be really quite creative at times. The premise itself is interesting enough but the writing allows for full use of it. For example the over-sized phone gets used as a sort of surfboard to get down from the second floor faster and help break the fall. The main character's unique size also leads to some interesting problems, scenario's and traits which are interesting to see.
Also the fact that apparently the goverment is willing to spend so much money into this big girl never seizes to get a chuckle out of me.

Lastly the more fetishy stuff is quite fun and leads to the reader saying "god I wish that were me" plenty of times. Also the main girl Chieri is an absolute smash and I can definitely see her becoming a best girl once the manga gains some traction.

The manga's just started at the time of this review but I can already tell it's going to be a blast. So far I have zero complaints and definitely don't regret starting this one. 10/10 would get stepped on.

Yeahhh, if you're looking for a good or even average new romance, just skip this. It's just fetish bait.

Maybe it's due to the explosion of the medium or maybe it's due to a lack of creativity, but either way a new wave of very mid romance manga with okay art geared toward the male audience have been releasing and this fits EXACTLY into that mold.

I think it's kinda obvious from chapter one but there will be exactly 0 character depth or nuance in any of these guys. All of them are very boring, EXTREMELY trope-filled, and possess almost no unique qualities. It's just another ... bad romcom but the girl is big this time! What a twist!

I'm not gonna pretend I know their names either. I can't describe any of their personalities besides the main girl being waifu bait for people who don't see the sun and the "rival" having dialogue that is borderline disgraceful in how bad it is. Situations go exactly how you expect with comedy that would put an insomniac to sleep. Drama (if there even is that) is over before you know it, and the romance is again gonna go exactly how you would expect.

If you like this series, I'm happy for you. I saw it first on my TikTok fyp and decided to give it a shot. I'm sure many people are just like me. However, I guarantee there are a million other, better options to use your time than read this. Because again, this is just fetish bait.
