This is EXACTLY what you would expect looking at the title. If you're looking for a 'surprise' this probably isn't what you're after.
The MC duo starts off as weak and OP and very unbalanced. It's a very fast-paced series, and some aspects are chaotic. The growth and human aspect for FMC is well showcased, she remains true to who she is and is influenced by MMC periodically.
You don't see someone drunk on power or a 'king' that defies normal logic, you see a peasant who climbs the ranks. It's worth the read if you enjoy dungeon series and little rom-com-fantasy that's not overplayed. There

are definitely some potholes and you'll walk away with some questions and a couple cavities, maybe a few damp tissues. Overall it's a good read if you enjoy the genre overall.

In my opinion this is a sweet accidental soulmate meeting with a misfortunate FMC, who is thrust into power. She's a little office flower from a black company who knows strife. She learns from a literal idol and they grow on each other in a chaotic yet adorable manner. She gains power quickly, and learns secrets that 'an average human' should never carry. With her growing connections, she continues to want for her family and friends to be safe. She doesn't want riches (though she appreciates money) and will do anything even if she has to sacrifice herself (but not her loved ones) without hesitating. It's rushed. There's surprise friendships, they don't delve too much into characters outside of the main duo, and the plot wraps up with a heart-wrench then a chef's kiss. Then when you look at the title you realize the implications, and know that the entire time, this is what you signed up for.
