It has a very familiar feel to it. While Alive:The final evolution is more sci-fi, Zetsuen no Tempest has a more "fantasy" background. The art style is similar and it involves 2 boys who fight for, with and against each other for a girl and their friendship (this makes more sense once you read them both to the end) Not a very good explanation but I feel that if you enjoyed one you'll definitely enjoy the other!

Both are supernatural apocalyptic stories, where the main antagonists are those who wish to restructure the world.

-both start off with the female lead being dead -both characters are determined to find the murderer (it's also the brother character and crush character) -however summertime record doesn't focus on the mystery behind the female lead's death- it's quickly resolves it after the first arc -both have great character development -supernatural aspects

Same author, same grandiose atmosphere shrouded in mystery, filled with questions waiting to be answered. Both stories introduce and slowly build up a cast made up of allies and former enemies who team up to stop *that* which threatens the destruction of humanity. Both series have characters that use magic to fight.

Both works are from the same author. Both deal about a world with supernatural activity. Both have a very strong opinionated female lead. If you like one you are bound to like the other.

- Recurring theme of lies and deception - Common premise of a mystery surrounding a girl’s death - Lots of heartbreak and pathos, also some heartwarming moments

Pandora Hearts and Zetsuen no Tempest deals tells a fantasy story that is shrouded by mysterious origins. The main female character has a goal and they must seek the truth and identity of their intentions. Both series has a various subplot that ties in the character roles together. In retrospect, expect fantasy tropes and a story about discovery, magic, and identity. Recommended for fans of supernatural and fantasy taking place in an imaginative world.

Both have a virus that kills people by transforming them in crystal/metal. Both have a main guy with a deceased sister. Both have two male best friend protagonists: a blonde guy which is a badass and a brown haired guy that does not wishes to fight. Both have an extremely powerful girl with magical power as heroine, and in both the theme is "save the world".

Both have quite manipulative main characters, Minami Harusumi in Bokura no Kiseki and Yoshino Takigawa in Zetsuen no Tempest. Both are concerned about finding out the truth about deaths in the past, of themselves in past lives for BnK and of Yoshino's girlfriend and Mahiro's sister Aika in ZnT. The storyline switches frequently between the present and past, in the time of Zerestria and Moswick for BnK and before Aika's death in ZnT.

Taking place in a modern time setting, Zetsuen no Tempest and Yozakura Quartet takes us at a closer look with some of the main characters and their lives. The main characters from both series has gifted abilities that are capable of supernatural feats. In Zetsuen no Tempest, they deal with magic while Yozakura Quartet's powers revolves around more with spiritual abilities. Despite this, both series has complex character relationships forged from events of the past and present. There is also a decent amount of comedy present and story arcs with promising plot twists.

Taking place in a modern setting, both series focuses on themes that relates to apocalypse. The main male protagonist realizes what fate awaits him after many circumstances that ties him with the supernatural events. Throughout both series, he also plays prominent roles to secure a better future for their world. There is emphasis on experimentation in Midori no Ou while Zetsuen no Tempest focuses more on magical content.
