Manga: Tight-rope
Both semes are yakuza (thought in T-R it's a very reluctant position). Both semes are also wounded, at which point the ukes work diligently to help them.

Manga: Bi no Isu
Both mangas include a yakuza seme. Also, the ukes are very selfless, so selfless that it greatly frustrates their semes.

Manga: Keep Out
In both mangas, ukes and semes alike greatly wish for the protection and well-being of the other. They go out of their way to help their partner, even if it means putting themselves in danger, as well.

Both mangas include very gentle ukes and strong, protective semes.

Manga: Last Client
Of course you can't make a manga if you can't draw, but there's something about the artwork in both of these yaoi titles that kept astonishing me. Also, both stories are tied to organized crime. Last Client has some comedic elements while I think Ake is more emotionally involving. Last Client, unfortunately, looks like it's on a permanent hiatus, while Ake is a short series.
