Both Zero, top undercover agent, and Shimazaki, unstoppable ex revolutionary soldier, showcase surprising talents (i.e. making tasty cakes, coffee or tea) aside from their weaponry and fighting skills; getting along with colleagues and clients, they wish to help others and do good deeds in their new role, but past or new tasks often get in the way. Land of Peace can be dramatic and violent, Tea Time is much more light-hearted, although both have action stirred with slice of life antics leaving a positive impact on the reader.

Both manga involve mysterious, scary yet adorably awkward apron-wearing men in ordinary situations, showing how they try to adapt to a big life change day by day, interacting with (and learning from) other people - usually all while enemies and police officers are stalking them. Several wholesome moments that almost make you forget they could easily snap their opponents in half. Realistic scenarios + amusing outcomes in episodic chapters, supported by simple but appealing art styles.
