I partly expected this to be like other romance manga, but there's a good deal of mystery that I'm invested in. Murder, political intrigue, hidden secrets, etc. that are all tying in to the big problems of "where is Caliesto?" and "how did Ente's soul move into another body?". You can feel all of the points building in together. A lot of the time, transmigration/reincarnation might not be addressed until the later part of the series as the MC will adjust to life similar to the original owner. However, we actually run into the original owner of the body early, and the MC's original mission
...
serves as a great way to drive the plot forward.
I find Ente's character to be relatable in that she spent her whole life studying magic and becoming phenomenal at it. She's well respected in her field and she achieved many great things. However, the time she gets to spend as Melissa Tiony also showcases the other perspective of being able to live a more normal life and enjoying the simpler things too. The latter is nice to experience, and some people might warm up more and get character development arcs from it (maybe Ente even more later), but I appreciate the consistency in her character that she has a firm understanding of who she is and what she wants. She does feel like someone who has lived a long life so her OP powers have my respect and don't feel too much like a cheat.
One thing that's confusing is how the characters age and their lifespan. I might have missed it, but I'm not sure how long it has been since the MC's original body passed away and then she wakes up in the body of Melissa Tiony. It makes some parts confusing, like what duke olvie's relationships was to Ente and piecing together events that have happened in the world.
