Looking at the title, I was sure it was going to be a drama, lol. It was also an arranged marriage between the main characters, so imagine all the angst. But surprisingly, it was more than that.
Second chance romances are always a hit or miss for me, but surprisingly I enjoyed this manhwa overall. This manhwa started when MLs divorced wife (FL) came back. Since it was a sudden divorce, it didn’t end pretty well. Which is why their first meeting after three years also didn’t end well for FL. The ML was a bit annoying since it’s obvious how he can’t separate personal life

from work, but it was pretty understandable because it’s obvious he hasn’t moved on and is still in love with her.
After a bit of confrontation because of their past, the ML fortunately caved in and started to pursue a relationship again with FL even though he still didn’t know the real reason for their sudden divorce before. I have to give him credit, since the guy finally followed his heart despite the confusion and hurt from the past. I love that!
There was also a second male lead, but surprisingly, he wasn’t forceful considering how long he waited to be with her. That was a bit sad, but I was still happy that he finally got justice for his father.
When it finally showed me the reason why the FL asked for a divorce, I can’t help but feel sorry for her. No one deserves to be treated like that even if they are a product of an affair. But the twist after that was surprising. I wish the evil stepmother had a more satisfying end. Urgh, the audacity of that witch! Well, atleast FL finally has her happy ending despite her painful past.
Aside from the FL, the ML also didn’t have a happy family. So I was really proud reading how both the ML and FL faced their past and finally moved forward for their happy ending. Now that’s how it should be done!
Definitely a must read!
