Obvious Machikado Mazoku clone. The first chapters for both are nearly identical. Girl wakes up with horns, mother tells her she's part nonhuman. Story revolves around them trying to adapt to school life as a half human while exploring their nonhuman side. Ruri Dragon doesn't lean as heavily into the fantasy elements, though, instead opting for a more slice-of-life style.

both have similar premises. ruri dragon is more on the light hearted side tho

Not similar, instead the opposite, while in Naruto, the main character is hated (feared, actually) for being different from others for having a demon fox inside of him, Ruri on the other hand is different from others as she's a half dragon and has horns coming outta her head, but she's not really hated or feared as much as Naruto, infact the only time a person has been afraid of Ruri till now is a random side character in chapter 5, that's it. Naruto fans should check RuriDragon out because it treats being different in a completely different manner.

Literally almost the same concept.a typical comedy slice of life story blends with an fantasy genre. a geeky MC meets an upbeat dragon living in an urban modern town, they became close friends. and more dragons also appear as the story progresses.

Ruri realizes one day she is half-dragon, Kuroe suddenly realizes she is is half-kaijuu. Both are schoolgirls. Both are dealing with everyday school life issues while also dealing with their newfound circumstances and learning about their origins as kaijuu/dragon.

Both series feature a very charismatic young girl protagonist with supernatural powers. Also both go deeper in their relationship with their dysfunctional families by making a good comedy.

Although both stories are very different in setting, they follow a protagonist that tries their best to fit in to their surroundings with very unique stories.

Both have half human, half dragon hybrid girls. Ruri Dragon is more of a slice of life and Dragon Half is more of an adventure but both have cute comedic bits.
