The female protagonist, Hildegar, is a character of depth and complexity. She’s an enigma - beautiful, formidable, and burdened with a terrible power and a sorrowful history. Her character left a profound impression on me, and I’m surprised I’ve only discovered this narrative recently. It’s a gem that deserves a wider readership!

The male lead diverges from the typical romantic hero. He’s driven by a strong determination to ... fulfill his goals, yet he is not a fighter. As a doctor and herbalist, he’s always ready to lend a helping hand. He is kind and merciful.

The plot revolves around the love story of two people from different sides in a war. Unbeknownst to the male lead, the female protagonist is the Knight Sun, a potent wizard-knight blessed by the Sun Goddess, that killed many people in the battlefield. Her true identity remains a secret to most, adding another layer of intrigue to the story.

Well… it’s a pretty solid manhwa to read. The title becomes meaningful after a few chapters, serving as a unique and fitting association with the story.

The plot itself isn’t overly complex, but it already shows some depth and intricate details, making the universe more vivid compared to its peers.

The male protagonist is well-developed, with a personality that strikes a good balance between bravery and cowardice. He’s pleasant to follow—neither too foolish nor overly intelligent—but his main strengths are his brightness and social skills. These are traits often attributed to female characters in shounen series, which is a common trope in the romance genre (e.g., Sono ... Bisque Doll).

The female protagonist starts off as somewhat generic, but as the story progresses, her personality and fears are explored in greater detail, adding depth and making the story more engaging.

As is typical in the romance genre, there’s a love triangle (or a conflict involving multiple characters with romantic interests). It will likely take around 50 chapters or so to resolve.

The secondary characters are more complex than what you usually see in other manhwas of the same genre. Their convictions and development make the universe feel more credible.

The art style is somewhat generic but has its highlights.

Overall, I’d rate it a solid 7 to 8. It’s been a very enjoyable read so far, and I hope it maintains this quality in the upcoming chapters.
