The stories about the daily lives of high school teenagers and their backgrounds, which are both funny and dramatic. The stories have character development. The 2 main characters have similar characteristics and personalities: Haejoon and Mitsumi, who look fierce but are good at studying and deep down are kind-hearted people. Eunyeong and Shima seem cheerful and have many friends, but some of their expressions may not be sincere and have similar childhood problems.

The stories about the problems of teenage life. Some parts of the story tell about the loss of someone important, which causes the person who lost to feel guilty and pain.

umineko is like the raw family drama and psychologically stressful plots of no home and clever tearjerking character weavings related to family, but with gore, magic, fantasy and meta/fantasy, and horror. and chess

The stories clearly show the bad sides of many of the main characters that are similar, such as being violent, hot-tempered, and deceitful, but the characters also have good sides. A main character has something in common, namely Haejoon and Ryuuji. He has a scary appearance but is kind-hearted and was raised by a single mother.

- okay first art style and color palette are very similar - Haejoon and Amy have so much in common, just as Eunnie and Bibi (i dont want to spoil anything do you just have to trust me) - both look cute and fluffy but contain dark and depressing content (they are still adorable and funny at the same time) - both tell the story about a teenagers with their own problems and traumas - found family and first love tropes

Both MCs have a similar relationship with ghosts and their mother. They're both followed by a black-long-haired ghost. Their respective long-haired ghost are similar in the way they view the MCs. Both MCs are frequently stressed and scared. They begin alone and by the progression of the story, make more friends.

- slapstic comedies about some dudes who tend to fight each other with hints of more serious drama - perfectly written relationships - unexpectedly well portrayed mental health issues

- both disguise themselves as a completely normal, cute and chill slice of life but further in the plot progression they turn out to show the deepest, darkest most tearful traumas you can possibly imagine... - ...and they both did it great, with carefulnes and empathy - Arima and Eunyoung are literally the same characters in different universe, puting aside their design which also has many common features, both are theather kids with somehow femine name/nickname, huge trauma, and mental problems caused by it (for example anger issues) - Beautifully portrayed relationships, not just between the mcs

The main topic of both works is family: what it means, what it can do for you, what it can do to you, the way how you're raised follows you throughout your life, the cicle of violence... While I feel No Home deals with this theme better (and it's an overall masterpiece, hands down), Ichinose-ke portrays it with a creative artstyle and direction, so it's worth reading it too!
