Synopsis

I started reading this due to my love for the Apothecary Diaries and this truly doesn't disappoint.

It's a story filled with premonition, fighting against the grain for long term social change and romance. The themes of medicine and intelligent, outspoken female leads with a nobleman chasing after them is very reminiscent of TAD and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something similar.

The thing I love most about the series is how it balances the drama and happy moments for the characters. It's got great pacing between conflict arcs to introduce hope and success, but repeats the cycle really effectively so it doesn't ...
