I usually am not one for dark magical girl. I find it to be exploitative and very voyeuristic on the suffering of teen girls (most of the time)
But, this is one exception. The character designs of each magical girl were unique and eye-catching. The story was packed with twists and turns that had me always tapping next chapter. It was an interesting commentary on bullying and how people will always find a way to excuse it if the bully is conventionally attractive or perceived as a good person who couldn't possibly do that.

I had such high hopes for the premise and the start of this comic but just like some of the plot the hope was over fast.
Miss Guillotine tries it's best to be the edgiest magical girl comic it can be, though it falls flat on it's face in terms of actual nuance when compared to actually good dark magical girl manga/shows. The story is severally rushed in several arcs but only at points that you'd expect to be a bit more drawn out which is saying something because the bits you'd expect to fly through slog on the most. Ladies and gents, we have another darkish magical girl series but this time they are bullies as well as "mean girls" murderers. It's also in desperate need of the horror genre because like I felt there was something missing while reading this manhwa. Don't get me wrong, the art is amazing and it's interesting to see the story about a "from weak to strong" girl getting revenge on magical girls for her sisters death.
