Although aim at different age groups, I find the protagonist of both manga very similar: they are both meticulous, driven, and ambitious women. They both work in the fashion industry. However, their roles are different: Mikako (Gokinjo Monogatari) is a designer, while Amano (Real Clothes) is a "buyer" for the woman clothes section in a department store. 

Both manga focus on the work life of a woman, with touches of love life. Both female leads are workaholic, yet they have moments where they wonder if they are sacrificing other important things for it. 

a heart-worming slice of life about a person who learns to love fashion  

Both are about the fashion industry. The lead female has to work their way to the top in the field of fashion and stylish people.  

Both are josei manga about the transformative power of clothes. Kuragehime is more comedic and Real Clothes is more realistic.
