Collection of boys love manga that can possibly be enjoyed even by those that don't care about or even dislike the genre in general. And you can trust me on that, because I certainly do not like the genre in general.

Not only are they drawn in excruciating details, or extremely well documented, but by simply looking at the panels you can conjure in your mind how the air smells or how the ground feels as if you remembered your own hometown.

Not recommended for those who are easily disturbed - contains adult content such as violence, physical/psychological torture and sensitive topics. Those without comments are manga/manhwas that I haven't read yet, or that I finished a long time ago and want to read again before commenting.

When questioned with "what are the best manga?" many readers would opt to suggest a series that has been in serialisation for years with dozens of volumes in total, but what about the shorter manga? I find humour in the irony of "it's getting dragged out" as a criticism when there are so many fantastic short manga -- even one's with a single chapter being on par (or even better) than long running manga. Despite this, a rhetoric of 'longer=better' remains...

A one shot manga is a manga released as a standalone chapter. Typically, these are only released in the magazine itself, however are often found to later be released into a collection of stories as a tankoubon release-either by the same author or as an anthology relevant to an overarching theme. For volume releases here, I suggest reading all of them as they either fight the criteria or were later merged on the MyAnimeList database.

The antithesis to my previous gender-breaking manga stack: "Seinen Manga that are "girly" and "feminine".

The topic of women's media is more often that not reduced to fancy tropes of lovers confined within romantic genres. Although there may be an ounce of truth to this statement, albeit the former being the most popular genre in all written fiction, it is often used dismissively to undermine who and what media is for, and by extension who can be represented.

Shoujo and Josei manga are more than "just" high school romances and, historically, genres such as Sports or Horror actually dominated the demographic. The most common complaint about this genre is panel layout, so I have tried my best to accommodate for shounen readers who struggle to branch out.
