SUMMARY: GTO: Shonan 14 Days is a side story that takes place in the timeline of the original story of Great Teacher Onizuka. Onizuka leaves school over a misunderstanding and lays low in his hometown of Shonan. There he runs into a colleague's acquaintance and helps out at a home for wayward kids.
Fujisawa Tohru wrote Shonan 14 Days 7 years after the completion of Great Teacher Onizuka and fans of the original are sure to enjoy this manga. It has a similar feel to the original story with new characters and story lines.

Review : GTO shonan 14 days
for those of you who are not familiar with GTO entirely ,in which case im sorry for you , but im gonna give you a little introduction on GTO . In an area called shonan there is a delinquent with his biker gang . a total bad-ass of the onibaku gang Ekichi Onizuka . now he has been through a lot in his school life , being a delinquent and all . Shonan is overally an okay manga, it's not bad but it's not great either. While it has some great gags and outcome of some situations, a dozen number of situations and villains were poorly made and executed too fast that it seemed like a mix of One Punch Man and Dr. Phil - Onizuka beats some people and screams what their flaws are.
The manga is trying to carry the original GTO formula (bad guys want to do bad stuff to good people, Onizuka deals with them in a silly way and teaches them what they did was wrong), but the further it goes, the more ... |
