If you liked Paradise Kiss (or Ai Yasawa's work), fashion, makeup, this is for you. The art is delightful, it is different from a common shounen, it's delicate and gives you that feeling of reading something about art, like blue period. The characters are very well designed with a style of their own. Even if it hasn't focused much on clothing, I think it will later on, cause one of our main characters wanna become a model, nevertheless, what has been shown about fashion is beautiful.
The plot is about two students who, after working together at a school's festival, realize their true aspirations. Aia is
...
a exmodel, who is into makeup, but during his time as a model he was led to believe that he had no talent to be a makeup artist, after that, he left his model career as well as makeup become a hobby for him.
After the festival, he realized that he's into makeup, he wanna become a makeup artist, even if it means going throught a lot of complications: the time he spent without practicing, competition against more experienced people, the feeling of being inferior.
In the other hand, we have Sumisaki, a tall girl with freckles who is an introvert and doesn't have confidence in herself, but when she met Aia, her world's vision and herself changed completely. A highlight is how she accepts and loves what were once her insecurities (the panels about this are super cute TT)
Even if you aren't into fashion, it's a good manga with interesting characters and a nice plot.
