+ Both series have protagonists that mature through the story + Both series feature novel weapons that separate the series from other battle-oriented series + Both protagonists have a sidekick that drives their character development + Both series have the protagonists facing their pasts and their consequences + Both series feature an initially simplistic art style that can become hype-detailed when needed

Both feature sentient cloth. Tsugumomo is comedic and Akaaka to Shita Chi no Monogatari is an action sci-fi quest.

-Ecchi fanservice, but on entirely different level -Shounen type manga, the fight quality is surely amazing -The plot runs the very similar: typical lewdness at the start, then hype shit caught up, then these elements r balancely devided. Along with these two, the development of characters and twists contribute some goodies to these manga

If you look beyond Tsugumomos borderline hentai tics these two are very similar, quite basic supernatural shounen action. What sets them apart from the rest are the fighting scenes. Both have incredible fighting, fluid and alive, you really get sucked into the action and there is never any uncertainty about what's happening or who does what - something that a lot of manga suffers from. It's a true joy to read a manga with action scenes this well drawn, and it can compensate for the weaknesses both have (well if you don't like ecchi you maybe should stay clear of Tsugumomo...).

Tsugumomo and Trash have alot in common. Just saying. There's fights and stuff. Tsugumomo is alot more "shounen" than Trash, or would have been anyway, if it wasnt for the excessive bordeline hentai outbursts, that's also found in Trash.

In both these manga the male protagonist life changes as he comes into contact with a deity. Both are with a bit of perverted comedy is really funny.

Both are weird romcom series with supernatural action elements.

Both are relatively light hearted at the start and get more serious as they progress and feature impressive fight scenes along with good comedic bits. Also both have supernatural beings but of different nature: monsters like werewolves and vampires in RtV and tsukumogami (tools that have acquired a spirit and human form) in Tsugumomo. Ecchi elements are present in both series but in Tsugumomo they are more prominent.

Fighting, monster girls, fighting, monster girls, magical body modifications, fighting, monster girls, these two titles have it all! Actually Youkai Shoujo have a main character who isn't a completely generic blank slate of a guy and a more "seinen" plot, but Tsugumo have some of the best fighting scenes ever drawn, so that kind of adds up. Also, the reason anyone would care about these two titles anyway; the girls are usually more nude than dressed, which might be a good thing.
