Before I start off this review, this bl doesn't focus on the sugar daddy aspect at all and mostly prioritizes the relationship between the main protagonists, Yuuta, and Aoi, coming to understand each other!
With that out of the way, this BL has its really cute and fluffy moments and can be read in one sitting. It's very generic as it uses the typical trope of the shy and lonesome male character being completely oblivious to the outgoing and handsome love interest with the main difference being that Yuuta wants to slowly help Aoi become more confident in himself by giving him an outlet to share
...
his hobbies.
Like a lot of singular story BL, the story has very little substance and most of it is pretty forgettable in the long run. It definitely left me craving more as it felt like the relationship development was shafted to randomly remember the sugar daddy conflict that was established in the beginning of the book and randomly placed make-out + sex scenes to add angst instead of focusing on the feelings both of the main characters develop for each other. Making their relationship feel like a slow burn and nonsencially fast paced at the same time..?
Overall, it's an okay read but not really something I would read again if given the chance.
