Honestly, when I read Masasumi-sensei's other work, Green Blood, I've always thought that his art style would really fit in a lovecraftian type of manga. And this manga proves it, I believe this manga is heavily/fully inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, an octopus-like monster with wings, hell they even have H.P. Lovecraft himself as a villain (they look alike tho fr). [spoiler]It's about an ex-police officer trying to get his revenge on a guy who murdered his beloved wife and daughter, he found out that the guy is actually an immortal being who ate the "Yomotsuhegui Fruit", a fruit that will make anyone that ate it ... became immortal. Soon he found out that he himself also has the ability of Yomotsuhegui.[/spoiler] It's a pretty good manga I must say, I really love cosmic horror type of story and this one definitely a good manga to read if you're that kind of person.

This manga has a pretty basic premise for a revenge manga at first being the MC is taking revenge for his family which isn't something new nowadays. Things takes a interesting twist when he finds out that the target of revenge is immortal.

The flow of the story was gradual and smooth although the pacing was slightly slow to my liking. The art of the manga was beautiful and immaculately done so that's definitely a bonus for readers that look out for good art in manga. Personally I feel like the manga could have fleshed out supporting characters such as Ren and the immortal king , ... their motives etc. Counterargument could be made that perhaps it will be revealed later on since this manga still only has 10 chapters.

Overall it was a good read personally but some of the characters felt a bit lackluster but would still recommend to those who enjoy beautiful art for these types of gory manga with epic fight scenes.

Masasumi Kakizaki is quickly becoming one of my favorite mangaka after reading Rainbow, Green Blood, and now this. So far, it's a very good manga with an amazing protagonist who appears to have many layers to his character and a very unique plot compared to some of his previous work. It even has its own power system! I really hope this stays consistent and doesn't drop off like Green Blood did, because while it was good, I thought it was a little short and abrupt. I believe others would enjoy this story about these mysterious beings known as "Immortals" and what the "Grim Reaper" and ... her sidekick the Protagonist "Grim Reaper Hand," also known as Nawa, will do to stop them. I recommend that you all give it a read and enjoy!

One of the best stories I've ever had the pleasure of reading.

Kanetsugu Nawa is a former police officer arrested 8 years ago for killing one of the abusers and murderers of a driver's wife and daughter, he did not receive any heavy sentence and was left free on the streets.
They don't age or die. But nothing in the body develops either, even for a child, it will not mature due to the lack of development.
To find out why, read on, the story has a lot of well-done plot twists, without exaggeration or anything absurd, don't expect a battle work, this work is phenomenal and ... incredible.

Uma das melhores historias que já tive o prazer de ler.

Kanetsugu Nawa é um ex-policial preso por 8 anos por matar um dos abusadores e assassinos de esposa e filha. Porém eram 2 pessoas, e a segunda ele deu um tiro na cabeça mas sobreviveu e agora vive sua vida normalmente. Como ele só foi considerado um motorista, ele não pegou nenhuma pena pesada e estava solto nas ruas.
Nawa então vai atrás dele e tenta se vingar, mas ele acaba não morrendo, e somos revelados a Yomotsuhegui, no caso ao fruto dessa arvore. Onde deixa as pessoas imortais. Elas não envelhecem e nem morrem. Mas também nada no corpo desenvolve, inclusive, se for uma criança, não terá um amadurecimento por causa da falta de desenvolvimento.
E com essa adversidade, somos apresentados a Ren, uma garota que é uma deusa da morte que é capaz de matar a semente do fruto dentro das pessoas, mas ela não consegue retirar da pessoa o fruto, somente o... Nawa. Para descobrir porque, leiam, a historia tem muito plot twist bem feito, sem exagero e nem coisa absurda, não espera uma obra de batalha, essa obra é fenomenal e incrível. Eu amo.
