One of life's darkest and most reveal questions is, "What are you willing to kill for?" For some people, it's impossible to imagine a situation in which they would take another life. For others, they might be able to list a price, but without being in the situation, there's no way to be sure if they could do it. In death games, participants find their price: it's usually a large sum of money and, of course, their own life.

In death games, participants usually find themselves in the same predicament: kill or be killed. And while some participants join the games willingly, many find themselves forced to play the game. Not all death games are made the same, of course. Creators of death games constantly find more and more interesting ways to force the participants to rack up the body count in the most gruesome manner.

Okay so my favorite niche sub-genre of manga is the ones where the cast has to kill each other or participate in some sort of sick and sadistic game. I have read most of these, but it is my favorite so I figured I should share with the world, enjoy!

Usage of (different types of) guns in these manga is pretty common.

All manga that fit the "Death Game" criteria. You can also look for the anime version.

This stack also includes manga that are not listed as "Psychological" in mal database but they still have psychological elements in them E.g. Shoujo Fujuubun.

These manga have a great way of telling a horror story.
Characters can be killed off very suddenly, creepiness is sometimes through the roof, blood and guts can be seen frequently.

Not all of them have the Horror genre, but all of them can be felt as if it were.

Things can be on this list even if I don't personally enjoy them, I don't know if it was a bot or a person, but this was a false unlist. Must-read manga mostly demographed as Seinen but also contains other good mangas that are not published in any Seinen magazine but are definitely suited for an older/adult audience.

All these mangas are a good read in my opinion, ofcourse this includes ones that I consider top-tier and personal favorites but the others - if not amazing, are definitely worth reading at least once.

We've all experienced that frustrated feeling of enjoying a manga/LN, only to find out that it has a horrible, rushed, incomplete, unsatisfying ending.
