A while back, a Twitter user going by @hicuckomori made a thread of niche, unique, and generally darker themed yuri/girl love manga, and this is all the series they recommended under that thread, with a few exceptions, those being: This stack is for any manga prominently featuring sapphic characters that was published in a female-oriented manga magazine. for all things queer (mixed genres) abyss \ ə-ˈbis \ noun Same as in the "Yuris published in France" stack, except that this one lists yuris but also more ambiguous titles where the romance is not always obvious. I’ve picked 7 of each, but might expand it later. Spanning 6 decades, this diverse set of Shōjo and Josei manga is very much worth reading…according to some random guy on the internet. |
