I think this was one of the better oneshots I have read.
Presenting a story of a prolific artist having the same dream of a mysterious women as long as he can remember. And now he is in search for her. An extremely ambitious one shot with horror elements present in it so tastefully laid down, that I am pleased. I was genuinely tense as I progressed through it, and if a one shot is able to provide that, then that means it was able to achieve what it was meant to.
I would refrain to talk much about characters because the one shot was more about
...
the story and less about the characters. Still they were good. Also the story was fine, it uses the usual format of one shots to take a linear plot point and expand it till completion, and I don't hate it for that because it actually expanded till completion.
Art was good. It was extremely detailed and further enhanced the horrific aspects of this one shot. This comparison may seem weird but my first thought after seeing some panels were "It reminds of Junji Ito's work". Not even kidding.
At last for the tl;dr, it was a very good one shot and if you are reading this review without reading the one shot, just what are you doing?
