Shota defines as a fictional young or young-looking boy character. They are typically drawn with exaggerated or stylized cute features. Shota would be a male equivalent of loli. In media regarding intimate relationships of such characters, an age-gap or height difference often occurs - emphasizing the appeal in contrast.
