An interesting read for anyone wanting more interactions between Hachiouji and Nagatoro, but as this is a collection of short stories by many different mangakas, the quality of them varies a LOT, with some of them being hilarious/heartwarming and showing the characters in a really interesting artstyle, and some of them being really fucking weird (not in a good way).
As this collection was published fairly early into the main manga's serialization, dont expect to see a lot of characters that are seen in the manga currently (i.e. Sunomiya, Orihara). But it is interesting to see where these mangakas thought the story was going to go,
...
as a lot of plot points they write have been retconned by newer developments in the main manga.
Overall the stories do a good job of keeping the characters feeling the same as the main series, (aside from a few of the aforementioned weird stories). Some of the best ones in fact feel like they could fit right in as an early chapter of the main series before it became more focused on continuing storylines instead of episodic chapters.
Overall, this is only really enjoyable for fans of the original manga. But if you are, there is plenty here to like as long as you dont mind having to read a few stories that will have you staring at your screen in confusion/horror wondering wtf you are reading.
