Its kind of controversial with their age gap and how the ML is a minor but overall, the story is interesting. I wouldnt mind the romance (if there is any) since
1. they arent related
2.he clearly looks like he will develop feeling for the FL
3. its showing all the shoujo troupes that will likely develop it into romance
if its not romance, then either way, they have a good relationship development where he learns to enjoy life and new things by cohabitating with the FL
Overall, I really recommend because its wholesome with how their relationship develops and how they both grow as a person through

There are a lot of loose ends in this manga which I can point to it gave us hits of a love triangle but it never happened I actually kind of enjoyed this manga.
Art: Their art is really good I liked it. Story: They could have created more volume but they ended in a kind of rush to finish I think they could have developed more to the story. Character: The characters were actually good they had was backstory and all so overall they were fine. 'Shounen wo Kau' is one of those lukewarm age gap series that skirts around taboos by not being TOO controversial in its approach.
If you wanted spice, you won't find it here. If you wanted something more gradual, fluffier, more roundabout - the series will fit your preferences. A 30-year-old OL takes in her sister's 16-year-old stepson because his parents are, frankly, irresponsible as fuck.
