Art is good, but the fights are hard to follow, and there's a lack of perspective that allows you to take a look at the big picture. The frames and paneling weren't really that good at showing the positions of a lot of the tanks, so following along the fight as it went along was difficult.
The whole backstory of the commanding officer of Count high school's squad in the midst of fighting against Saunders was fine, but I didn't quite get the point of the "striga" title, or the "witch" title, which was emphasized a lot. I think if the manga had more chapters,
