This review is going to be brief (because, to be honest, I'm pretty darn annoyed).
So, here's the deal: the story is chugging along just fine, filled with all kinds of plot twists and a healthy dose of romance. But, and here comes the big but, the ending, oh boy, I really, really despised it.

I mean, seriously, the whole amnesia thing? It's just a major letdown. They wipe the character's memories clean and expect us to find closure in that? What the heck were they thinking? I suppose I could stomach it if this amnesia trick was pulled off at the beginning or if there was some epic character journey leading to a memory recovery, but nope, none of that. It's just plain distasteful. Left me shaking my head and wishing for a more satisfying conclusion that didn't leave such a bitter aftertaste.
