Are you tired of the usual light novel experience full of generic tropes and unispired writing? Here are some books that are entertaining to read through and through.

Manga/LNs with intertwining plots. They feature large casts/many different groups of people moving independently but simultaneously to form one larger plot, and actions taken by characters/groups influence others (Narita Ryohgo is a master at this; a lot of the titles on this list are written by him). May involve frequent POV shifts and may have a non-linear plot.

Arguably the most important aspect of the story is character writing and nothing beats characters that are carefree while at the same time written incredibly well. Extra points for stories that feature a very dangerous world that further enhances the way the characters act.
