The Girl Without a Face is a touching and wholesome love story about a yokai girl with no face and her human boyfriend. Despite the many challenges they face (mostly through communication) you see their love for each other grow with each chapter. While the start of each chapter is a bit repetitive, they each go on to present a unique and thoughtful look into the couple's dynamic, and how any obstacles can be overcome with enough care and attention. The artwork is pretty solid, pacing is great, and while this one-shot is very episodic, you still get a good sense of an overall story

arc with a simple but beautiful ending. The author did a great job of creating just enough depth to get the reader attached to the characters in the short period of time they had.
A great read for anyone looking for a short, sweet, and unique romance!
