Both drawings are similar-old art. They both focus on young girls who want to be in the stage industry like theatre and ballet. Maya and Masumi are similar, they are clumsy and have a hardcore passion for the thing they do. Not just that, they both don't know that they have the talent and always have no confidence. The stories also have great rivals.

Also centered around ballet, but this time with a magical-girl fantasy type storyline. Note: the anime is much better than the manga.

The protagonist in Subaru is also striving to become a ballerina. She has many teachers that help her achieve this goal, as she strives to become the top of the world. Both characters are pushed to their limits and improve at an amazing speed.

An older (70s/80s) style, the struggle of one girl to be a successful ballerina, and oodles of drama!

Both Swan and The Cherry Project are shoujo sports titles that deal with more feminine and elegant sports. While some of their plots deal with the main characters trying to become better in their chosen activity, they focus just as much on character relationships, romance, and drama.
