Hime is a plus-sized young woman who has a deep appreciation for food. Despite facing body shaming and being perceived as unattractive to some, she doesn't let this dictate her life. However, when she meets Osuma, a kind and accepting individual, she feels motivated to lose weight to impress him and secure a job at the company where they met. This shift in her motivations sets the stage for the story, but unfortunately, it quickly loses direction.
I was taken through a dizzying loop of aimless situations that lack lasting impact or relevance to the overall narrative. New characters are introduced sporadically, contributing little substance to

the storyline. The pacing feels erratic, jumping between moments without cohesive transitions
The artwork is in color illustrations and read from top to bottom but it lacks distinction as characters appear uniformly aged. Hime is portrayed as a hard worker with self-confidence issues, particularly when she's pursuing Osuma. However, this emphasis on her weight-consciousness feels unsettling and takes me away from the Hime I originally met.
While Osuma is depicted as hardworking and successful, he remains a somewhat flat character. .
The manga fails to deliver on its potential to highlight the importance of self-love or to present characters outside the physical ideal. Instead, it offers a rushed, thoughtless narrative, where the two protagonists merely go through the motions. Personally, I found it difficult to enjoy this manga and had to force myself to finish it due to my personal rule of completing everything I start.
