Shoujo manga magazines typically feature stories with female leads: the character whose perspective and inner thoughts primarily narrate the story to the audience.

The manga collected in this stack are original works serialized in these same shoujo magazines, but instead feature a male leading character. Story plots can fall into any genre and vary widely, including Romance, Adventure, Horror, or Comedy.

Please note Boys Love (BL) stories and male casts with heavy BL subtext are excluded from this stack. Manga serialized in josei magazines are also excluded as there are specific publications which have a higher tendency to feature only male characters.

Esta es una lista de todos aquellos mangas publicados en Editorial Vid en Mexico desde el 2000 hasta su cierre. La idea de este stack es tener una lista de consulta para todos aquellos que crecieron en dicha época, para que puedan consultar los mangas con los que crecieron y quieran volver a leer, y para que las nuevas generaciones conozcan los mangas que cimentaron el camino hasta nuestra actualidad. This is a list of all the manga published by Editorial Vid in Mexico from 2000 until its closure. The idea of this stack is to have a reference list for everyone who grew up in that era so they can look up the manga they grew up with and want to read again, and for new generations to learn about the manga that paved the way to our present. Here, I will include manga that were published even if they were not completed (In this stack from A to P). Best regards.

This is a list of the Shojo and Josei manga licenses held by Viz that are not under the Shojo Beat or older Viz Shojo labels. These include some digital-only Viz Select licenses they got after TokyoPop went under as well as ones published under the plain Viz or Viz Signature labels. Otherwise, these titles are under either Viz Signature or Viz Media imprints.

*X by CLAMP has been published under both the Viz Shojo imprint (singles) and the Viz media imprint (omnibi)

*Many of Junji Ito's short stories were published in the shojo magazines Nemuki and Halloween, and have been mixed into his seinen horror in the Viz hardcover releases for his works. So those are shojo that have not been released under Viz Shojo or Shojo Beat.

Personally, I love this type of manga, I feel that I connect deeply with their style and tones, to the point of wanting to buy the ones I can get from these demographics in my personal library.
