I wasn't gonna write a review of this manga, but I figured I might aswell since nobody else has. Overall, Suicide Line isn't bad but it certainly isn't great either. It's just alright I'd say.

The story is incredibly dark and it doesn't shy away from any disturbing topics such as rape or child abuse, and it shows enough of it for you to feel sick. Definitely wouldn't recommend reading this if you're sensitive to that type of content.

Most of the manga is fine in pacing, it can get quite tricky to understand at times but that might just be a me issue. The worst ... part is the ending, it felt much more rushed and there were multiple plotlines left unanswered. If anything, the ending made it much more confusing than necessary.

I personally wasn't too fond of the art, but I got used to it after a few chapters. The characters were all quite unique from each other, however there was so many introduced at a time it was hard to remember who they were and why there were actually in the story.

Overall it's a 6/10, I'd only really recommend it if you were looking for something dark and confusing to read

Suicide Line is neither bad, nor good. "Fine" is a great way to put it.

Story & Characters - The premise of the story is interesting enough, since it's the concept of working in the police force with the ability to "sense" the dead. It's a good setup. The characters don't feel quite fleshed out, to be honest, and it seems they are instead just romanticized idols with no character progression. It's not bad, but it's not good.

Art & Design - This one is a solid "meh" for me. I think some folks would like the art direction because it's Josei, but I ... can't get behind it. It has this feeling of constantly trying to push the "pretty boy detectives EVERYWHERE" vibe which gets boring when all the characters start to look the same (even the older characters). Variety is key for a good story, even in art. Also sometimes you'd see panels that don't quite go together, as if the story was being a bit more rushed through in certain areas, so you'd see a longer span of time over fewer panels. This leads to a bit of confusion and an incoherent feeling.

Overall, solid "fine". It's not bad, it's not good.
