Most of these are josei (women oriented) (but I am a guy and really liked some of those) and have "some sorta" plot and not just "let's jump into bed asap". Manga that feature a couple that have entered into a marriage of a contractual nature, rather than marrying out of love. This can be self appointed or done so on behalf of one or both parties by: a parental figure, a company, or the government. These are all Joesei manga that I’ve found interesting! It’s all manga, there aren’t any manhua or manhwa in here at all. Remember, Josei is a demographic so while there are a lot of heterosexual romance manga in here there’s also Boy’s Love, mystery, action, thriller, isekai, and etc. I hope you find a new manga to enjoy! Reads I found moving - well developed characters experiencing imperfection / growth / emotional baggage / overcoming challenges As a reader, I find myself the manga/manhwa targeted towards adult female audience are very rare. Are you tired of the fade to black/time skip steamy scenes? Then this list is for you Here are all the josei manga I think one should read in order to cover all bases. I organized this list by general theme, with publishing series at the bottom. Here are some of the best shoujosei mangas I've read so far. Most of them are school romance with comedy and/or drama. I did also include two classics of the magical girl genre and some with minor fantasy/ supernatural themes but no "real" fantasy mangas apart from that. A collection of shoujo and josei manga that have yet to be adapted into anime. Manga dealing with the lives of married couples and individuals, or those in a domestic partnership. Romance Manhwa, Manhua, and Manga that I've read (short or long) that are completed. All manga published by polish publisher Studio JG These manga deal with the struggles many people face as they enter the adult world, such as sustaining a career, navigating relationships, or finding a place in society. just beautiful art from a mix of mostly romance josei, shoujo and some other genres that's candy for my eyes, nothing to do with whether the story is good or bad (because i'll admit there's some bad ones here) Ok so i will be complaining in the notes but i havent put anything in this stack that I didn’t enjoy reading. |
