Favorites: 69 Resources | New Interest Stack Interest StacksThis stack contains BL manga which are sweet, cute, fluffy, and wholesome. Sick of city life? Bored of the 'burbs? These Boys Love stories take place in the countryside, forest, remote islands, and quaint little villages. Compiling amazing manga which are LGBT+ focused or have some LGBT+ aspects. Sometimes it seems everyone wants to throw in the towel and leave the daily grind for a farm or just a countryside life- these characters actually do it. Manga featuring two heterosexual males becoming romantically involved. Both of the MCs have never dated anyone of the same sex before, though they may or may not have been dating women prior to falling in love with their male romantic interest. Manga in which the story revolves around one or more characters that have made or are making a life-changing alteration to themselves, either physically or mentally. Part 2: https://myanimelist.net/stacks/30435 This is a list of manga where the main characters or even all the characters are adults, whether they are college students or workers. Some of these manga have a big age gap (5 years or more) but I only included main characters who are at least 20 years old, which means they can be categorized as adults. Also, there are some series for which I only put the sequels because the main character is still under 20 years old in the prequel. Stories that feature people who have liberal/unusual jobs or study more specific subjects (like botany, art, etc). Live-action adaptations often leave a bad impression on anyone who has read or watched the source material. Many are even quick to say that they just should never exist. But I beg to differ—these kind of shows helps us look at things in another perspective. WILL your interpretation of [manga] be different if it is acted by people? I don't want to say live-actions are good, in fact I'm still cringing most of the time, but they give fresh air at least. really just my fav bl mangas. please mind that some of these show/bring up triggering topics and/or are nsfw! -Manga that deals with real life problems of gay people. bls that made me want to cry/made me actually cry (aka the name of the stack is a lie, some of these are very tragic) Part 2: https://myanimelist.net/stacks/56334 Disclaimer: healthy does not mean perfect! Some of these relationships definitely have their issues, but what makes them healthy is their communication and willingness to improve, as well as the fact that the issues are not depicted as acceptable. No r*pe, incest, or toxic age gaps. |
