both have similar stories, blue period and idolish7 are basically stories that are about the characters wanting to be better in their respective goals (art and music respectively), both mangas showing difficulties and internal problems that happen in a realistic and creative way. 

-Both stories are more than just the art/idol world itself, they show how the characters may have a difficult road to reach their dream or goals (in the art or the entertainment industry). -They also show a lot of aspects around both worlds, it's pretty interesting because there are not to many stories that talk about topics in the way they do. 

Both mangas focuses on the story of bands and what are they gonna do to reach success and be pleasant with their work. Idolish7 and Nana are fill with drama and they develop their relationships thanks to the music. In both stories the cast have conflicts in their life, struggles that they have to surprass. 

-Stories about how relationships can change our lives forever, in Nana and Idolish7, the music plays a huge part on them, the stories explore their motivations, ambitios, etc. -Both have a lot of drama, the characters are mostly adults and the stories are told in a part in the past and in another part in the present. 

Both mangas are stories centered around the world of idols, actors and entertainment in general, Onk and i7 shows the workings in the business, like a behind the scenes. Both have characters that you may think they don't have struggles but in fact the story focuses on how they get through them. 

-Mangas about the idol, entertainment and acting industry, they show part of behind the scenes, behind the cute world on the outside how hard can be in reality for the celebrities involved. -Both have good dramatic moments and well develop relationships between the characters. 

Specially in Idolish7 Re:member, the similarities with Given are even more noticeable since there are a main relationship that gonna develop trought the music in a band, the characters have nice personalities. Both stories show some of the struggles to become successful in the music industry  

While Act-age is a story focused in the act business and Idolish7 is focused in the idol business, both are stories that show part of the reality in them. How the characters go trought conflicts and obstacles to reach their dream, both of them have good storytelling. 

Both Kono Oto Tomare and Idolish7 have a cast that gonna have to team to reach a goal, a goal that goes around the music (play the koto and being an idol), in both stories the cast have to learn to teamwork to reach their goal, and learn that they need other people to solve their internal struggles. 

-Idolish7 and Chihayafuru explore more aspects than just the sports and music itself, the characters have layers that are shown to us as we progress -Themes of having a passion and going all-in -The characters develop deep relationships that start because they share a common interest.
