A spinoff of the character that started it all.

This manga has just begun but the art has been carried over from Record of Ragnarock, making it extremely pleasant to look at.
Harsh lines almost define the characters and their strength.

This is obviously a story about the development of one character, Lu Bu Fengxian, but who he fights and his companions do have a part in making this manga great. Seeing other characters interact with Lu is satisfying, when they show emotions of either respect or fear for him.

Overall you should definitely keep up to date with this manga if you enjoyed Record of Ragnarock, this ... might even make you enjoy it more.

Story - i wasn't sold at first - Lu Bu seemed like not interesting character to focus plot around, but i was mistaken - it really is fun to discover his past and gain knowdlege about his times.

Art - like in original source material- gore with detailed art;

... Character(s) - Lu Bu has some deep as character (but nothing to be amazed), his oponents so far also made me curious about his rivals to the top.

Overall - series focused on one fo the most badass character in Shuumatsu no Walküre. If you like the original series and love fast paced fights with lots of gore - give it a try :)
