Oni Gari is a strange read.
Now, I know what you might be thinking, this is a horror manga (labelled as hentai here on MAL) by the mangaka who also set the world's obsession with tentacle porn in motion. Strange, with him, is to be expected, and, more than that, should be celebrated too.
But there's not that much to celebrate about Oni Gari.

The story of this manga, while basic, is enjoyable and serves its purpose well. It provides a straightforward narrative that is easy to follow, making it accessible to a wide audience.
One of the standout features of this manga is its art. The artist makes excellent use of hatching, which adds depth to the characters and backgrounds, which are very good drawn. However, the pacing towards the end of the manga is very bad. The conclusion is very rushed, like 5 pages, which detracts from the overall impact of the endings.
